Hi, I'm Henry Wilhelm Kirenga — a visual artist born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. My art is all about freedom. I don't limit myself to one subject or one way of expression. I paint portraits, animals, nature, emotions, anything that speaks to me in the moment. Every canvas is a chance to explore, to express, and to tell a story in my own way.
I work mainly with acrylic paint, using both brushes and palette knives but I rely more on the knife to build rich textures that bring my paintings to life. It's through these layers and movements that the story of each work begins to emerge.
Inspired by my Tanzanian roots, I often blend natural elements and African fabric patterns into my work. Whether realistic or abstract, every painting carries a piece of my environment and personal journey.
To me, art is freedom a space where I can express without limits and connect with people through visual emotion. I'm honored to share that journey with you.

Exhibited at Nafasi Art Space, one of Tanzania's leading contemporary art hubs.
Participated in international exhibitions in Germany and Zimbabwe, sharing Tanzanian art on global platforms.
Sold paintings to collectors in Germany and Japan, expanding the international reach of my work.
Commissioned by collectors for personalized artworks including a painting inspired by Elon Musk's achievements, and a custom BMW race car painting.
Collaborated with Nias Nyalada Art Studio in live painting sessions with major organizations including Vodacom, Tigo, and Airtel.
Worked with Nias Nyalada Art Studio during special painting sessions with leading Tanzanian musicians, including Diamond Platnumz's family and Jux.
Created large-scale pieces including my largest painting to date and a powerful scene of a charging bull.
Received a Certificate of Appreciation from TLM for artistic contribution.
