The Artist

Painting is my language of freedom.

I'm Henry Wilhelm Kirenga a visual artist born in Dar es Salaam. I don't confine myself to one subject or one way of expression. Portraits, animals, nature, emotion every canvas is a chance to explore and tell a story in my own way.

I work mainly in acrylic, favoring the palette knife to build the rich textures that bring each painting to life. Inspired by my Tanzanian roots, I blend natural elements and African fabric patterns into work that carries a piece of my journey.
